Hollywood, CA (November 14, 2011) – The wait for director J.J. Abrams’ sensational coming-of-age story SUPER 8 to arrive on Blu-ray and DVD is almost over…but fans will have a chance to get their hands on early copies signed by the director in a nationwide “Hide & Tweet” event. The DVD/Blu-ray combo pack will be hidden in cities across the U.S. and clues to their locations will be distributed via the film’s @Super8Movie Twitter account and Super8Tweet.com starting November 14. Fans can use the Super8Tweet.com microsite to piece together tweeted clues about where to find a copy of the film autographed by the director and additional mystery prizes. Anyone who finds the prize can post photos on Twitter using the hashtag #Super8Movie.
Debuting on November 22, the SUPER 8 Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack with Digital Copy boasts more than two hours of enthralling special features including eight behind-the-scenes featurettes, an in-depth deconstruction of the breathtaking train crash, interviews with cast and crew including J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg and more.
