Joe Johnston’s (Captain America: The First Avenger) The Rocketeer hit theaters back in 1991 to mostly positive reviews but failed to attract a large audience at the time. The film stars Billy Campbell as a stunt pilot and mechanic in 1930’s California who comes across stolen jet-pack designed by Howard Hughes. Based on the retro comic book by Dave Stevens, the superhero adventure also stars Jennifer Connelly, Timothy Dalton and Alan Arkin.
The Blu-ray will will present The Rocketeer in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Special features have not yet been announced.
